Set in mature gardens, The Old School House, Tillmouth, was built in 1867 as a school and headmaster’s residence, providing education for children from surrounding farms and hamlets. After closing in 1965, it was sympathetically converted into a private dwelling.
The Hodgson family have made it their home and will offer you a friendly, warm welcome.
The Old School House is situated perfectly for excursions and explorations in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.

Mike spent several years travelling for work and has stayed in many 5 star hotels which have not offered a fraction of the attention to detail, charm and comfort which you provide. Together we have stayed in many bed and breakfasts and again, few have measured up to the standards you set.
You have a wonderful home and a uniquely attentive B&B – we shall be singing your praises to all of our friends.Louise and Mike
I never ever do this but this is an exception. I must give you 10/10. This is as good as it gets. I am so pleased the Tillmouth Park Hotel was full.
Thank You.Ken and Maureen

Follow the Cornhill Road (A698) from Berwick and turn left immediately after the entrance for the Tillmouth Park Hotel. We are 100 yards down that road on the right.
